There is nothing more beautiful than the way the ocean refuses to stop kissing the shoreline no matter how many times it’s sent away. – Sarah Kay
Thank you for browsing and taking the time to read a little about me. My name is Chelsea, I’m twenty-four. I live in beautiful East Tennessee. I spent every moment I can remember of my childhood dreaming of getting away and traveling, but the longer I spend here, the harder that idea seems. Could I wake up in a concrete jungle and more importantly could I actually go a day without these breath taking views? I’m not certain about my future, but right now that would be a firm no. I suppose this is why I tend to gravitate toward beautiful, deep and earthy green colors. Life is beautiful.
I began my virtual assistant business a couple years into being an Office Manager working closely with a small business owner. I slowly began researching, and after quite some time I had an epiphany. I realized that I could be supporting my client’s dreams while also accomplishing my own dreams. “How bizarre? I could never own my own business (financially, responsibly, practically). Me? Me a business owner? Contracts..how scary” I began thinking. I’ve worked so hard through enrolling in my business administration program, taking extra courses about online businesses, and financially that eventually it became impossible NOT to begin my business. Working so closely with a small business owner helped me realize my potential to assist multiple business owners, which is THRILLING to me. I enjoy taking those mundane day-to-day administrative tasks so my client can focus on what matters most to them. I love bringing new ideas to the table to assist these day-to-day tasks in becoming more efficient for my client.
I have a family dog at home with mom and dad. At my current home, I have two cats: Sadie and Widow. If you’re curious, there are posts with pictures of each cutie within this blog! 😉 In my free time I enjoy reading, painting, focusing on my health, and spending as much time with my loved ones as possible. Since I was sixteen, my favorite book has been The Catcher in the Rye by JD Salinger. From the moment I read this book, I’ve always dreamed of being the catcher in the rye…too much at times. I recently picked up painting after losing my grandpa. Painting has helped me process the aggressive feelings following this event. Upon reading a few of my blog posts, I’m sure you can conclude that I am practically obsessed with my health. I’m always striving to make the best health decisions possible.
Thank you for taking some time to read about not only myself, but my business as well. I hope you’ll take some time to look around, and contact me with any comments, questions, or concerns.
